Ravens:

This is also quite an ancient, but renewed song from „Rocaille“, i.e. 1980-1982.
It’s a tribute to the good old anglosaxon and celtic Folk-Rock. Have a listen to
Fredy’s playing the flute. The lyrics are referring to Fairport Convention’s “Crazy Man
Michael”. The improvised middle eight with its swing-, rock and “funky” sections
results “empirically” from noodling around. The mp3 features Angela – the first
verse.

Lyrics Ravens:

(Music: Fastenmeier, Orendt/Lyrics: Fastenmeier)

Ravens fall from my head
Ravens all the time
Two lovely children
A sister and a brother
They run an endless race
Ravens all over them

Ravens knock at the door
Ravens all the time
They will never fly away
Sitting on the top of the roof
Waiting for grateful victims
Silence, be a gentleman
