Dreams to sell (II):

Das Grundkonzept dieser eher jazzig angehauchten Nummer stammt von Gerhard.
Als wir einen passenden Text dazu suchten, kramte ich aus unserem Fundus
älterer, nicht mehr gespielter Stücke besagten Text heraus, da er sehr gut zur
Musik harmonierte: daher Dreams to Sell, zweite Version. Zwischendurch
kommen zwei Träume, für das Stück geschrieben, aber auch eine
Reminiszenz an frühere Zeiten: der erste Traum mit Fredy an der quena,
einer Andenflöte, der zweite mit Albrechts eigenwilliger Saxlinie

Merry and sad to tell
And the crier rang the bell
What would you buy?
